If you’ve downloaded the app but you’re unsure how to proceed, you’re in the right place! We’ll show you how to take the first step towards controlling your spending so you can build your savings. Simply connect one or more bank accounts to get started.
Why is it important to connect my accounts?
To fully benefit from the app, make sure that you connect the bank account you get paid into and where your bills come out of. Are your bills managed across multiple accounts? No problem, you can connect as many bank accounts to Money Dashboard as you want. This way, we can show you exactly what your money is spent on and how much you’ll have left until payday.
It’s important to connect the account which you do most of your spending from so we can give you insight on your spending. Being mindful of your spending is the first step in controlling bad habits, allowing you to reach your financial goals.
Is it secure to connect my bank accounts to Money Dashboard?
Your accounts are securely connected via Open Banking APIs provided by your bank and your online banking details are not stored by Money Dashboard. Your data is protected by 256 bit encryption and we use the same industry-standard security practices as many of the world’s leading banks.

How do I connect my first account?
That’s easy! Simply log in to Money Dashboard Neon and click ‘Connect your first account’ on your home page.
Money Dashboard supports over 40 UK banks including Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Clydesdale, First Direct, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds, Monzo, Nationwide, Natwest, RBS, Revolut, Sainsbury’s, Santander, Tesco and TSB.
Click on the first bank account you would like to connect.
Then we will list the information we’ll request from your bank. Click on the dropdown arrow to find out more about these. Once you’re ready, click on the log in button.
You will then be taken to a secure gateway. Follow your bank’s instructions.
Great job! You have connected your first bank account to Money Dashboard Neon! Simply repeat this process to connect all your accounts so you can forget about having to log in to multiple websites or apps to manage your finances.
