Money Dashboard has now been accepted into Microsoft's global BizSpark program, confirming its commitment to creating a truly fantastic and unique user experience powered by technologies including Silverlight and Windows Azure.
BizSpark will provide Money Dashboard with fast and easy access to Microsoft's current full-featured development tools, platform technologies as well as production licenses. This program is a key component in a range of services offered by Microsoft to help ensure the adoption and development of new technologies.
Mark Taylor, UK Director of Microsoft's Developer and Platform Group commented "It is exciting to see such a comprehensive software service delivered not only Silverlight through the browser, but a multi-channel solution. Being able to securely access your information through both web and mobile technologies, especially your personal financial data, is essential for projects such as Money Dashboard."
Following Microsoft's launch of their new technology centre right here in Edinburgh in December 2008, Money Dashboard is delighted to be the first to take advantage of the facilities and expertise on offer through the programme.
Commenting on the relationship, Money Dashboard's COO, James Varga, said We were initially worried about accessing the skills and support required to build this Rich Internet Application with new technologies, but we have been impressed by the levels of support and access to development tools and consultancy expertise that Microsoft has provided.
We are continuing to work very closely with a number of the teams within Microsoft as early adopters on a range of technologies including Silverlight, WPF, Geneva and Azure to deliver a fantastic product.
Money Dashboard's cutting edge personal finance software is reliant on rich graphic content to bring the service to life and to make it easy to operate and easy to navigate. Microsoft's Silverlight software development tool will enhance the User experience and levels of interactivity with the User.
Money Dashboard is launching its Alpha testing program in the next few weeks.
