Money Dashboard has launched its Alpha product using Microsoft's Silverlight 3, creating a unique experience for the Money Dashboard user.
Built in Expression Blend 3 and Visual Studio 2010, the Money Dashboard rich internet application delivers a high quality and exciting user interface that takes advantage of a number of the new features included in Silverlight 3.
Commenting on the use of Silverlight 3, James Varga, Chief Operating Officer at Money Dashboard, said It is fantastic to be able to include the new features in our Alpha product. The 3D support, and ability to offload rendering onto the hardware, has not only allowed us to create real depth to our interface - giving the user a more realistic experience, but also to make a quantum change to the speed, frame rate and interactivity of our application.
The out of browser capability has given Money Dashboard the opportunity to develop a number of components in the application that will easily install directly to a user's desktop or sidebar.
We are absolutely delighted to be using Silverlight 3 within the Money Dashboard application.
Mark Taylor, Microsoft's UK Director, Developer and Platform Group, added, I love the interface, not only is it fresh and interactive but also an ‘easy to use' approach to personal finance. The market needs something like this and I can't wait to use it myself.
Money Dashboard is currently in Alpha test of its product which will be launched later in 2009.
