Money Dashboard was founded by Gavin Littlejohn and is based in Edinburgh. Our service was first released in 2010 with the aim of becoming a personal financial assistant for users: helping people take control of their finances and empowering them to make the right financial decisions in life.
In 2012 we re-launched “to help you manage your spending in incredible detail” (as stated by TheNextWeb.com). By listening to our users' wants and needs the Money Dashboard service went through a complete design overhaul, which came with a host of new ground-breaking functionality.
The result was what we see today; an intuitive application that functions as a personal financial assistant. The benefits of which are real - empowering them with their own data to make the right financial decisions, but without making them work hard for the privilege.
In late 2014, Money Dashboard received a further £2.7m investment led by Calculus Capital, a specialist in creating and managing private equity funds for individuals. This increase in funds has helped us to further enhance our existing service and technology platform. This has included the creation of a fully mobile responsive website, so our users can enjoy Money Dashboard on the move, not to mention a host of new product features.
