BONUS: Quiz - Your money managing profile
The better you understand your current money managing habits and skills the more likely you are to develop more resourceful habits and skills that lead to more positive results.
As well as writing The Money Chimp I also developed a test to go with it help you identify your current money managing habits and skills.
The Money Chimp Test is an online test that takes about seven minutes to complete. You answer 35 questions and get back a personalised 20-page report of your money managing habits and skills with specific recommendations.
Normally it would cost £15, but I'm delighted to offer it to Money Dashboard users for FREE for a limited time.
Once you answer the 35 questions you will instantly receive a comprehensive report. The report covers each of the 10 money managing habits: earning, spending, saving, investing, giving - and the skills of tracking, targeting, trimming, training and taking action.
You will get an overall score and a graph of your individual results.
On the left hand side you can see a scale ranging from 0-100%. There is also a horizontal grey zone set at the 75% mark and some vertical bars ranging in different heights.
Ideally those vertical vars need to be somewhere inside that grey zone. If they are outside the horizontal grey zone - too high or too low - it means it's an area requiring your attention.
The report then gives detailed feedback for each of the money managing habits and skills. In addition to the graph you will also get detailed feedback on how you answered every question. That adds up to a clear and personalised report on your money-managing skills.
